![]() I got the email in Rome on the first day of my holiday. Knox Robinson was offering me a contract to publish my novel! In one way you might say this was the culmination of years of work. So this is me in Italy, 10 days ago. The next day I got an email from Fireship Press saying they wanted the whole ms. for my biography on Anahareo. Fingers crossed. So this is me in Rome on the Appian Way. Is this road I've traveled in this writing journey is behind me, or is it in front of me?

wow, Kristingle! Love your Christmassy name there. Huge congratulations for your perseverance in getting this wonderful book to a wider audience. As we in Bantry know, it is not alone the writing of the book, but the seeing it through that takes too much of our energies. Can't wait to buy my proper hard copy version. Love, Fan. If you can link to my blog somewhere it would be great; I will try and link to your website from my blog.

I am so happy for you, Kristin!! It's so well deserved. So will you do book readings at, say, local libraries where you grew up or used to work? I'll be proud to say "I knew you when..." I mean, I do it now but I get these looks. I'm honestly thrilled for you. Can't wait to buy my copy.
